EDM tooling is also called discharge machining or electroerosion machining,it is one of the four most popular processing methods.And milling, turning and grinding.In the mold industry, especially the plastic mold industry, it is a very important process.

The development direction of modern mould manufacturing is that high speed machining and electric discharge machining are closely connected and complementary.

Take the injection mold as an example, usually the large area, easy to cut for high speed machining is preferred, other difficult cutting machining of the cavity part by the electrical discharge machining.

Edm is an important technology of the mold factory, some factories have a good level of technology, can be processed out of high quality mold, but some enterprises can not, even if the use of a very high end CNC edm machine tool, the effect is still not rational.
